Oasis Scholarship 2023 – Eligibility
What are the eligibility conditions that students need to fulfil while applying for any of the Oasis scholarships? This is an obvious question whose answer students look for everywhere. One of the major eligibilities that students need to fulfil to get these scholarships is that they should be permanent residents of the state or hold its domicile. Besides this, there are several other criteria that students need to fulfil, which are mentioned here.
Pre-matric scholarship for SC students
- One should be a student of Classes 9th and 10th and belong to the SC category.
- The family/guardian income should not be more than INR 2,00,000 per annum from all sources.
Pre-matric scholarship for ST students
- A student must belong to the ST category.
- Students of Classes 9th and 10th are eligible to apply.
- The annual family/guardian income should not be more than INR 2,00,000 from all sources.
Post-matric scholarship for SC/ST students
- The applicant should be studying at the post-secondary or post-matriculation level and belong to SC/ST category.
- The annual income of parents/guardians should not be more than INR 2,50,000 from all sources.
Post-matric scholarship for OBC students
- The applicant should be studying at the post-secondary level and belong to the OBC category.
- The annual income of the family/guardian from all sources should not be more than INR 1,00,000

Oasis Scholarship 2023 – Rewards

Oasis Scholarship 2023 – Application Process
What are the steps to be followed to apply through the Oasis scholarship portal? Irrespective of the scholarship students want to apply for, get step-by-step details of the application process here.
Step 1: Registering with the Oasis scholarship
- Visit the official website.
- Click on ‘Student registration’ in the students’ corner.
- Choose the district where the institution is based.
- A page for verification of the caste certificate will appear.
- Fill in all details and click on submit tab.
- Once the caste certificate is verified, candidates will be directed to the online registration page. Fill in all mandatory fields and click on submit.
Step 2: Oasis login to complete the application
- Once candidates are registered successfully, they can download their permanent user id/application number and password through the ‘Download login information/acknowledgement slip’ button.
- Click on the ‘Login Now’ button using the application number/user id and password.
- Once logged in, they have to fill in their further details and bank information carefully and click on the ‘Save and Proceed’ tab.
Step 3: Verifying and Locking of Oasis application
- Once candidates have filled all their information in the application form, they can click on the ‘Verify and Lock’ button to lock all the information filled.
Note: Once candidates have locked the information filled, they cannot make any changes further. So, make sure to enter the correct information in the application form.
Step 4: Print the application
- After successful locking of the application form, click on the “Download Application Form” button to get the computer-generated copy of the filled-in application form.
Step 5: Submission of printed application
- Submit the printed copy of the duly-filled application form along with the copies of all supporting documents to the concerned BDO (Block Development Officer) for the Block area or PO cum DWO for municipality corporation.
The documents to be submitted are –
- Recent stamp-sized photograph
- Attested copy of caste certificate/acknowledgement slip
- Attested copy of mark sheets and certificates of the last examination passed
Application Process for SC Students
It is mandatory for Schedule Caste (SC) students to complete this additional step first and then navigate towards the OASIS scholarship portal.
Step 1: Registering on National Scholarship Portal
- Visit the official website.
- Click on ‘New Registration.‘
- Click on Register for Pre-Matric or Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme only for SC Students to get a unique ID.
- Read the registration guidelines, check the boxes and click on ‘Continue.’
- Fill in the registration form and click on the ‘Register’ tab.
Oasis Scholarship 2023 – Renewal Process
If the candidates have already won scholarships through the Oasis scholarship portal in previous years, they need to renew it every year. For renewal, the application process is slightly different. Candidates can find below the step-by-step description of the renewal process hereunder –
Step 1: Log in to the Oasis scholarship account.
- Visit the official website.
- Click on the ‘Renew Scholarship’ button in the student’s corner.
- Login using the registered user id/application number and password.
- Verify the previously entered details and make changes if required.
Step 2: Renew the application
- Once candidates have verified their already existing information, they can click on the ‘Renew Application’ button.
- Enter information about the current academic education.
- Click on the ‘Renew and Lock application’ button.
Note: Once the candidates lock their respective renewal applications, they cannot make a change in any field. So, they should make sure to enter the correct information in every field.
Step 3: Submit the printed application
