KARepass – Eligibility Criteria
As mentioned in the introduction of this article, KARepass scholarships are meant for the upliftment of economically weaker candidates belonging to the backward class of society. Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS)
- Only those candidates who are pursuing studies at the post-matriculation level will be considered eligible for this scholarship.
- The annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 1.50 lakh for category 1, and less than INR 2 lakhs for categories 2A, 3A and 3B.
Food & Accommodation Scholarship (FAAS)
- Only those candidates who are pursuing studies at a post-matric level in Government/Government-aided or Housing colleges will be considered eligible for this scholarship.
- The annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 2.50 lakh for category 1 and less than INR 5 lakh for categories 2A,3A and 3B.
Fee Concession Scheme (FCS)
- Only those candidates who are pursuing post-graduate courses will be considered eligible for this scholarship.
- The annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 1 lakh for category 1 and INR 2.50 lakhs for categories 2A,3A and 3B.
Vidyasiri Scheme
- Only those candidates who are pursuing studies at the post-matriculation level will be considered eligible for this scholarship.
- Only OBC, SC and ST candidates are eligible for this scholarship scheme.
- Candidates must have secured a minimum of a 90% in SSLC or in an equivalent exam.
- The annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 2.5 lakh for category 1 and less than INR 1 lakh for categories 2A, 3A and 3B.
KARepass – Incentive Amount for Various Scholarships
- Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) –Ā Upto INR 3,500 per annum.
- Food & Accommodation Scholarship (FAAS) – Upto INR 1,500/month for 10 months.
- Fee Concession Scheme (FCS) – Training fee, laboratory fee, sports fee and readers charge upto INR 1,750/annum.
