The e-Grantz 2023-24 portal is a dedicated online portal run by the SC/ST/OBC Development Departments of the Government of Kerala. This portal (e-Grantz 3.0) centrally disburses scholarships and stipends to students within the state.
The online portal allows the students belonging to reserved categories to apply for the scholarships available at the post-matriculation level. Also, if a student is unable to submit the online application, the e-Grantz portal provides the provision for the institutions to enter the application on the student’s behalf.

E-Grantz 2023-24 – Scholarship Details
The E-Grantz portal only enlists post-matric scholarships for students belonging to SC, OBC, OEC and other economically and socially backward classes. The amount of financial assistance that is given to students through these schemes varies based on your category and current academic qualification.
Furthermore, with the help of this advanced platform, the selected students receive the scholarship amount directly into their account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Application Timeline: Within a week of taking admission in any of the listed courses.
E-Grantz 2023-24 – Key Eligibility
The scholarships and schemes available on the E-Grantz portal have a pre-defined set of eligibility conditions that you need to fulfil to apply for them. These conditions are primarily based on your current academic qualification, domicile, the category to which you belong and family income.

- The students studying at the pre-matric or post-matriculation level of studies from a recognised university/board are eligible to apply
- They must have taken admission under the merit and reservation quota
- Students willing to secure the scholarship must possess 75% attendance in their classes every month

E-Grantz 2023-24 – Rewards
Students will receive various financial assistance through E-Grantz scholarships. Check out the brief details about the scholarship awards.
For Students Belonging to SC Category
- ₹630 – The rate of the stipend is designated for students who are studying in a college below 8 km from their residence.
- ₹750 – The stipend is designated to students who are studying in a college above 8 km from their residence.
- ₹1500 – The students who are pursuing professional courses and are residing on their own will receive this amount as a stipend.
For Students Belonging to OBC Category
- ₹160 – Students enrolled in any +2 course program listed institution under the scholarship
- ₹200 (Day Scholars) and ₹250 (Hosteller) – The students must be pursuing PG or professional courses listed among the programs eligible for the scholarship
- ₹100 (Day Scholars) and ₹150 (Hosteller) – The students must be pursuing polytechnic courses

E-Grantz 2023-24 – Application Process
Students need to submit their application form before the last date to apply. If students are unable to fill out the application form, submit the application through the institution. Below is a detailed step-by-step application procedure for E-Grantz scholarships.
Step 1: One-time registration
- Visit the E-Grantz 3.0 portal
- Click on the ‘One-Time Registration’ button given at the bottom
- Provide student’s Aadhaar number and name (as on Aadhaar)
- Click on ‘Validate Aadhaar’
- Fill in further required details such as mobile number, birth date, email ID and password
- Click on ‘Register’
Step 2: Student Login
- After the successful registration, the students need to log in to the user dashboard by using the registered email ID and password
Step 3: Complete the Profile
- After successful login, the students are required to complete their profiles
- Fill in all required details mentioned in the five sections namely, basic details, other details, bank details, upload details and institution details
Step 4: Apply for the scholarship
- After completing the profile, the students are required to click on ‘Apply for Scholarships – Post-Matric’
- A list of scholarships for which the students are eligible to apply will appear
- Select the scholarship you want to apply for and start the application
- Fill in all required details
- Upload all supporting documents
- Finally, submit the application form
E-Grantz 2023-24 – How To Check Application Status?
Follow the procedure given below to check the application status online at the E-Grantz portal.
- Visit the E-Grantz 3.0 portal
- Enter the Aadhaar number and the date of birth
- Click on ‘Track Application’
- The details of the scholarship applications will appear on the screen containing information like application number, scheme name, student’s name, application location, date of application received, application status and remarks
