Award Details

Career Assessment Test

  • Selected students get a monthly scholarship of up to INR 350 for a period of 10 months.
  • Up to INR 1,000 is given as an annual book and ad-hoc grant.
  • Students with disabilities studying in private un-aided recognised schools get additional allowances which are as follows:
  • INR 160 per month to blind students as a reader allowance.
  • INR 160 per month as transport allowance.
  • INR 160 per month to severely disabled students as an escort allowance.
  • INR 160 per month as a helper allowance.
  • A monthly coaching allowance of INR 240 to mentally-retarded and mentally ill students.

Award Details

  • Selected students receive fees for enrolment/registration, tuition, library, magazine, medical examination and other such fees.
  • Besides this, students also get up to INR 1,600 per annum as charges for study tours.
  • Thesis typing and printing charges up to a maximum of INR 1,600.
  • Additional allowance to ST students with disabilities.
  • An additional allowance of INR 1,200 for essential/prescribed books.
  • Also, a monthly allowance of up to INR 1,200.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must have the domicile of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • The applicant must belong to the category of Scheduled Tribe (ST).
  • The annual family income must not exceed INR 2 Lakh.
  • The candidate must be a regular, full-time student of class 9 or 10 studying in a recognised school.
  • The applicant must not be getting any other centrally-funded scholarship.

Umbrella Scheme for Education of ST Children Post Matric Scholarship, Arunachal Pradesh

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must have the domicile of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • ST student who has completed matriculation/ higher secondary/ any higher exam of a university are eligible.
  • The candidate must be studying in class 11 or above.
  • The annual family income must not be more than INR 2.5 Lakh.
  • The applicants who are pursuing education through correspondence mode are also eligible.
  • The candidates must not be availing of benefits from any other scholarship/stipend scheme.
  • All the children of the same parents/guardians are eligible.
  • Employed students on leave without pay for the entire duration of a full-time course.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicants must be residents of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • The applicants must belong to the ST category.
  • The candidate must have scored at least 60% marks in the last exam.
  • Class 12 passed students who pursuing the following courses are eligible:
  • B.A./ B.Com/ B.P.Ed, B.Sc, M.A./ M.Com/ LLB/ M.P.Ed/ LLM/ MPMC/ M.Ed, M.Sc, M.Phil, PhD, B.Sc. Agri./ Horti/ For/Seri/ Fishery, Diploma (Engg.), B.E./B.Tech, BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA, PGDMC, TT & HM (Diploma), BFA/MFA, B.Ed., CA, M.Tech, B.V.Sc & AH.

How to Apply for Arunachal Pradesh Scholarship?

Step 1: Visit the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) to register.

Step 2: After registration, students will receive an application ID and password on their registered mobile number.

Step 3: Using the application ID and password, applicants need to log in to NSP.

Step 4: The applicants must change their password as directed.

Step 5: The applicants, now, must fill in all the required fields like registration details, academic, basic details, contact and scheme details.

Step 6: The candidates need to upload the necessary documents and save the form as a draft so as to check that the filled-in information is correct.

Step 7: The final step in the application process is submitting the scholarship form after verification.
