DCE Scholarship – The Complete Kerala Scholarship List
A total of 16 Kerala scholarships are available for students to apply which are being run by the central government and the state government of Kerala. The key departments of the state government of Kerala offer scholarships for students of the state which also include the Department of Minority Welfare and the Department of Collegiate Education. ITC Fee Reimbursement Scholarship, Kerala

Eligibility –
- Open for students who belong to Minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Parsi, Sikh, Buddhist, and Jains).
- The applicants must be pursuing an ITI course.
- The annual income of the family should be less than INR 8,00,000 per annum.
Awards
- INR 10,000 for students pursuing the 1-year course.
- INR 20,000 for students pursuing the 2-year course.

C H Muhammedkoya Scholarship, Kerala

Eligibility –
- Open for girl students only who belong to Muslim, Latin, or converted Christian communities.
- The applicants must be pursuing studies at graduation level or above.
- The percentage of marks to be obtained by them in the last qualifying examination should be 50% or more.
- The annual income of the family should be less than INR 8,00,000.
- Students studying in self-financing colleges from merit seats can also apply.

- This scholarship is applicable to blind/physically handicapped/deaf students.
- They must be pursuing their studies in government/aided Arts and Science Colleges, Music Colleges, and Higher Secondary/Vocational Higher Secondary schools.

- Blind students with annual family income below INR 2,50,000 will receive a fee waiver
- Physically disabled students (hostellers) with family income below INR 4,50,000 will receive a waiver in hostel charges

Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) for Minority Community, Kerala

- Open for students who belong to a minority community (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis, Jains, and Buddhists).
- They must be pursuing their studies from Classes 11 to the Ph.D. level.
- The minimum percentage of marks to be obtained by them in the qualifying examination should be 50% or above or an equivalent grade.
- The annual income of the family should be less than INR 2,00,000.

- Admission and tuition fee up to INR 10,000 per annum
- Maintenance allowance of up to INR 1,200 per month (for 10 months)

Central Sector Scholarship (CSS), Kerala

Eligibility –
- The students, who are above the 80th percentile of successful candidates in Class 12 from respective Board of Examination can apply for this scholarship.
- They must be pursuing regular degree courses at the undergraduate or postgraduate level from institutions/colleges recognized by AICTE/UGC/MCI/DCI or any other regulatory authorities.
- The annual income of the family should be less than INR 8,00,000 from all sources.
Awards
- For graduation level – INR 10,000 per annum for the first three years and INR 20,000 per annum for 4th and 5th year (for integrated/5-year courses)
- For postgraduation level – INR 20,000 per annum

DCE Scholarship – FAQs
DCE Scholarships are the scholarships that are being offered by the Department of Collegiate Education (DCE), Government of Kerala for students who are domiciles of Kerala. Besides these, the Department of Minority Welfare (DMW), Government of Kerala also offers a number of scholarships for minority community students of Kerala. All these scholarships combined together are broadly known as Kerala scholarships.
The last date for each DCE Scholarship and DMW Scholarship varies. The applications for these scholarships generally start in the month of November and December and end in the month of December and January. The exact dates may vary from scholarship to scholarship.
The students can apply for as many scholarships as they want, provided they fulfil the eligibility conditions. However, while receiving the scholarship amount, the students may have to opt for one scholarship only.
The Suvarna Jubilee Scholarship is being offered by the Directorate of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala to support the needy and meritorious students to pursue higher education.
