Government Vidyaniketan Scholarship	Students must have passed Class 10 from Government Vidhyaniketan. Candidates must have scored 60% marks in Class 10 board exams.
State Government Daxshina Adhichatra Scholarship	Applicants must be a graduate from government institutes and colleges/non-agricultural university of Maharashtra. Candidates must have taken admission in a PG course in one of the specified government colleges.
Government Research Adichatra	Applicants must have secured 60% marks in postgraduation [B.A/B.Sc/B.Ed and MA/MSC/M.Ed] and below 60% marks for any other degree. Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State is a world-class, globally competitive and flexible higher education institution responsive to the individual, institutional and socio-developmental needs of the people of Maharashtra. DTE Scholarship is a broader term that mainly comprises two scholarships namely, Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna and Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna.

MahaDBT – School Education and Sports Department Scholarships

The School Education and Sports Department (SESD), Government of Maharashtra invites applications for the Open Merit Scholarships in junior colleges from students who have secured 60% marks in their SSC examination. The objective of this scholarship is to motivate those students for further higher education. The department also offers other merit scholarships for students who are domiciled in the state.

MahaDBT – Application Process

The applicants can apply for the DTE scholarship through Aaple Sarkar DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) portal. It is a unique platform run by the Government of Maharashtra for its citizens to help them avail benefits of different schemes available on it. From the academic session 2018-19 onwards, having an Aadhaar number is a mandatory requirement to apply for any scholarship scheme through the portal. The applicants are advised to go through the instructions carefully and get acquainted with all the requirements prior to filling up the scholarship form. Follow the steps below to apply for the scholarships on the Aaple Sarkar DBT portal:

Step 1: Applicants must visit the official website – Aaple Sarkar DBT Portal.

Step 2: Click on Post Matric Scholarship, select a scholarship and then click on ‘New Applicant Registration’.

Step 3: Provide the required information and register.

Step 4: Fill in the email ID and mobile number to complete the registration process. Click on ‘Get OTP for Email ID Verification‘ for email verification and ‘Get OTP for Mobile Number Verification’ for mobile number verification.

Note: Both email id and mobile number verification are mandatory.

Step 5: Once registered successfully, log in using the registered email ID and password.

Step 6: After successful login, provide the information of Aadhaar number and proceed.

Step 7: Applicants are required to authenticate their Aadhaar number. There are two types of authentication available.

OTP – If the applicant’s mobile number is registered with Aadhaar, then they can choose authentication type- OTP
Biometric – If the mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar, then they can choose the authentication type as Biometric.

Step 8: Enter the Aadhaar number and click on the ‘Send OTP’ button. The system validates the Aadhaar number and sends the system generated ‘OTP’ to the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on the ‘OK’ button. After the successful OTP verification, the applicant details fetched from UIDAI will be auto-populated in the personal details, address details, bank details etc.

Step 9: Now, the applicants can see the dashboard with available scholarships listed on it.

Step 10: Select the scholarship to be applied for and click on the ‘Apply’ button to start a new application.

Step 11: Complete the profile by providing all necessary information.

Step 12: Once the profile is updated, the applicants can go to the ‘All Schemes’ section and search for the scholarship they would like to apply under the departments in the mahaDBT portal.
