HDFC Bank Parivartan's ECSS Programme 2023-24 is an initiative of HDFC Bank that aims to support meritorious and needy students belonging to underprivileged sections of society. The scholarship programme is meant for school students from Class 1 to 12 and those pursuing diploma, ITI, polytechnic, UG and PG (general and professional) programmes. Under the ECSS programme, the students who are unable to bear the cost of education due to personal/family crises or any other financial problems and are at a risk of dropping out are provided with monetary assistance of up to INR 75,000 for their studies.
HDFC Bank is India’s leading banking and financial service provider. It has introduced this scholarship as part of its flagship programme – Educational Crisis Scholarship Support (ECSS). The bank has been undertaking various projects in the field of education and livelihood training as part of its social initiative - Parivartan

HDFC Bank Parivartan's ECSS Programme for Postgraduate Courses (Merit-cum-Need Based) 2023-24
Deadline31-Jan-2024 Eligibility Read More- The students must be pursuing postgraduation courses (general courses - MCom, MA, etc. and professional courses - MTech, MBA, etc.) in recognized colleges or universities in India.
- The applicants must have passed the previous qualifying examination with at least 55% marks.
- Annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lakh.
- Preference will be given to those applicants who are facing personal or family crises that have occurred during the past three years due to which they are unable to continue bearing the cost of education and are at risk of dropping out.
- Open for Indian nationals only.
Benefits: For general postgraduate courses - INR 35,000 | For professional postgraduate courses - INR 75,000

Deadline31-Jan-2024 Eligibility Read More- The students must be pursuing graduation courses (general courses- BCom, BSc, BA, BCA, etc. and professional courses- BTech, MBBS, LLB, B Arch, Nursing) in recognized colleges or universities in India.
- The applicants must have passed the previous qualifying examination with at least 55% marks.
- Annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lakh.
- Preference will be given to those applicants who are facing personal or family crises that have occurred during the past three years due to which they are unable to continue bearing the cost of education and are at risk of dropping out.

- The applicants must have passed the previous qualifying examination with at least 55% marks.

To apply for this scholarship, applicants are required to submit their current year’s admission proof. In case, you do not have the fee receipt, you can submit the admission letter/admission confirmation letter to be considered for this scholarship.
What is the application deadline for HDFC Bank Parivartan's ECSS Programme?
There are three application deadlines for the HDFC Bank Parivartan's ECSS Programme. The first application deadline is 30th September 2023, the second application deadline is 31st December 2023, and the third application deadline is 31st March 2024.
I scored 53.4% marks in my Class 8 examination. Can I apply for this scholarship?
No. You need to score at least 55% marks in your qualifying examination to be eligible for this scholarship.
If selected, will I get this scholarship for subsequent years of studies?
No. This is a one-time scholarship. In order to avail of the scholarship for subsequent years, you need to apply as a fresh applicant for this scholarship in the subsequent years as and when the scholarship is renewed for the year.
Which document must be uploaded as income proof at the time of application?
The applicants can upload any of the following documents as proof of income -
- Income certificate issued by SDM/DM/Collector's Office/Tehsildar
- Salary slip or letter from employer
- ITR
- Affidavit

I passed my Class 12 examination in 2022 and after a gap year, I took admission in B.Tech (1st year). Can I apply for this scholarship?
Yes, you may apply for this scholarship provided you have your current year admission proof which ensures the continuity of your education after the gap year.
