The Government of Uttar Pradesh offers a number of scholarships for students who are domiciles of Uttar Pradesh state. These scholarships are meant to support education at both the pre-matric and post-matric level. The students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, Minority or General category can avail benefits under these schemes. The state government also runs its dedicated portal by the name of 'SAKSHAM' for effective implementation and disbursement of these scholarships.
